yama’s Basic On-line Therapeutic Yoga Certificate consists of nine modules with recommended readings and written and experiential assignments delivered through the yama on-line support center. It is designed to be completed in as little as 3 months. Those who prefer more time to assimilate the material are welcome to take up to a year to complete their work. Once all the homework has been completed your certificate will be awarded. This certificate includes all the written homework for the 200 hour in-person program minus the internship and research.

Price of this on-line course alone (self-guided): $495.
Price with e-mail mentor & supplemental teleconference support $650

Those who wish to get a jump on their in-person nine month training may opt to work through the Basic On-line Therapeutic Yoga certificate program prior to attending the nine month program. Those who do complete the certificate will receive a $500 waiver on the registration deposit toward their contact hour program tuition. Additionally, those who wish to transfer into the 500 hour program after completing another YA registered school's 200 hour program will be REQUIRED to work through this certificate program to assure they are entering the advanced training with the same body of knowledge as their peers. They will also receive a waiver on the $500 registration fee once they have completed their Yoga Therapy Certificate.
