Alumni Association
We are pleased to announce the creation fo the yama studio Alumni Association! Membership is open to graduates of any of the yama studio training programs. Every year we receive feedback that the fellowship component is one of the aspects that sets yama’s training programs apart. We believe that the Alumni Assocation will provide perfect opportunity for graduates to maintain that sense of community after graduation.
Membership for the first 50 registrants will be $75. Regular membership and renewals will cost $108 annually. Complete a membership application here.

Dixie Mullineaux Phone: 410-458-2806 Dixie is a Licensed Acupuncturist. Her training includes a background in Vipassana meditation, Meditation Teacher Training at yama studio, and Mindfulness Meditation for Professionals at Duke University Integrative Medicine in North Carolina, plus 60 years of living on the planet in a state of amazement and curiosity.
Dr. Steffany Moonaz
Dr. Moonaz is a graduate of yama studio's 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training program. Dr. Moonaz's doctoral dissertation was the development of an 8-week program for sufferers of rheumadtoid or osteoarthritis. The "Yoga for Arthritis" program was created with the assistance of a highly skilled team, which included rheumatologists, psychologists, and yoga therapists. This program has been offered at yama studio and was highly praised by the participants.
Serafina Rayner Founder of Root & Sky has a bachelor of science degree in environmental science, is a certified massage therapist, and has a 200 hr yoga teaching certificate. She takes a holistic approach to Root & Sky and incorporates what she has learned about preserving our environment, anatomy and physiology, and Ayurvedic and Yogic theories into developing Liquid Ember products and individual yoga classes.
