Meditation Facilitator Training Program

This program is ideal for those who want to learn about both the theories and practices of meditation with an eye toward teaching meditation to mixed faith populations as well as for those who wish to have a more in depth knowledge of meditation in order to deepen their personal meditation practice.

We want our graduates to have both a grasp of THEORY and of PRACTICE. To that end, part of our approach is to require our students to engage in reading, research and discussion that will help lead the field forward.

Prerequisites
*Daily personal meditation practice
*Understanding of the transformation that is possible through meditation
*Vision of the group with whom you wish to share this knowledge.

Deep meditation practice can bring issues to the surface. Those wishing to participate in the yama program must commit to spiritual direction with a spiritual director of their choice at least twice a month and those in therapy must stay the course of their treatment and have clearance from their therapist/doctor in order to participate.
