Distance Learning/Hybrid Programs: NOW ENROLLING!

yama is pleased to introduce our new Distance Learning programs.

With our distance learning format, you can earn Yoga Alliance CEU's in the convenience of your own home. Our easy to use on-line learning center allows motivated adult learners the opportunity to move through our self paced programs at a speed that makes sense to you. Those who learn better with class discussion can augment their programs with our Teleconference Supplements.

Our Distance Learning programs are based on the principles of knowledge, compassionate care and service. Choose from programs that range from Yoga Scriptures and Indian Philosophy to the practical application of the tools of therapeutic Yoga.

Deepen your personal practice and understanding of Yoga while you enrich your teaching skills with this broad, mentor assisted survey of the healing tools that Yoga provides.

Successful candidates for the distance learning program are disciplined and self-motivated. Our courses require not only reading and writing but experiential exercises. Plan to spend at least 3 hours a week on your homework. You must also be comfortable working on and with computers and able to navigate easily through MS Office programs (including MS Word, Excel & Powerpoint) or the Mac equivalents and use the internet to succeed.

NOTE: Please be very certain you wish to enroll in these programs. NO REFUNDS will be given. You have up to one year to complete your work.

One "hiatus" i.e., a break of up to three months in the course, is permitted. At the end of the hiatus, a fee of 50% of the ordinary fee is payable for re-registration in order to pick up the course again. A break of more than three months, or a request for a second hiatus, will be considered dropping out of the course. The fee for re-registration after dropping out of the course is 100% of the course fee.
