- Convenience–one expert to help with all of fitness, nutrition, weight, stress, and health; telephone coaching sessions at convenient times
- Support for workouts at home or while traveling for employees who don’t have time or do not want to go to the company gym
- Encouragement and support of use of company facilities by providing additional motivation and accountability for regular use.
How it works: During coaching sessions, coaches help clients identify a personal vision of wellness and priorities in one or more areas including fitness, weight, nutrition, stress and health. Clients get in touch with their most powerful motivators, develop strategies to overcome their obstacles, and commit to three month behavioral goals and weekly goals leading to a healthier lifestyle.
Here are the steps:
1. To get started, the employee (client) contacts their company benefits professional who contracts with yama therapeutics
2.S/he completes a comprehensive intake form and questionnaire.
3. S/he is offered a coach’s contact information to schedule a complimentary 30 minute introductory Q & A session.
4. After the introductory session, s/he decides whether the program/coach will be right for him/her (clients commit to at least a 3 month program)
5. Coach and client then set up an initial one hour intake session~$90.00
6. Coach and client meet for subsequent 30 minute sessions ~$45.00 weekly
7. Coaching program length is based on individual needs (typical program runs for 3-6 months, with a maintenance program to follow)
